Visuals, sensor and reactivity
“Nagomi (和み)” is an interdisciplinary creation that blends influences from Japanese and Andean cultures, incorporating New Media elements to create sounds and visuals in real-time through pressure-sensitive textile sensors. This work integrates the resonance of electric guitars, tarkas, taiko drums, shakuhachis, and the depth of traditional songs and soundscapes, all in harmony with movements inspired by contemporary dance and shiatsu, a Japanese therapeutic massage technique.
